Reebok cycle is an exciting new training program that brings a new dimension to indoor cycling.
There is clearly a need to provide a highly motivating vigorous program for the many enthusiasts
who may choose indoor cycling for fitness training or in preparation for outdoor cycling activities. Stationary cycling is a popular alternative for aerobic training because it is non-impact. Young and
old alike can rise to the challenge of a cycle based program.
Rules of the road
When participating in class: arrive 10 mins early for bike set-up, bring water & towel. Enjoy, Learn,
Train, but don't compete.
The benefits of exercising in water have been well known since the Greek & Roman times. It has
a number of benefits over land based work (aerobics).
1. Exercise or Aerobics is easier in water, it supports the body weight.
2. Reduces stress on your joints.
3. The massage effect of water increases blood circulation and promotes relaxation.
4. Its' very enjoyable and it's a way to become and stay fit.
One of the main benefits of aqua is that all age groups and fitness levels can participate. The
following groups of people may find aqua especially beneficial:
1. Injured.
2. Older adults.
3. Pre and Post natal.
4. Overweight.
5. Disabled - physically and intellectually.
We are currently running Swim lessons for children and adults. For those of you who are a little nervous in the water you can avail of Private lessons.
This is where all the over 55's get together for a chat over complimentary tea/coffee & Homemade Scones. But firstly they must take part in our Aqua Aerobics Class. We also have an open swim session each week for one hour.
